Our splendid Central Europe tour, will take you through the former Habsburg Empire. Your tour starts and ends in Munich, and our extended nights gives you time to enjoy the World Famous Oktoberfest. Along the way, you’ll overnight in some of Central Europe's most exciting cities: Prague, Vienna, Budapest, and Salzburg. Many must-see sights are included in your tour, along with some free time for you to enjoy the local scene on your own terms.
Our package includes the transportation from Joplin/Neosho to the Tulsa airport (and return) for our flights to Munich. We also have included several meals, and most of the must-see sightseeing. Optional sightseeing choices will be made available for you to select from during your free time; or you can choose to explore on your own during that time. Most hotels are Tourist Class / 3-Star rated and are listed on our itinerary. Touring will be with a luxury motor coach, and professional Tour Director, along with local guides during the included sightseeing. Price Details: All rates are per person, and include: transportation from Neosho/Joplin to the Tulsa Airport (roundtrip). Air transportation from Tulsa to Munich (roundtrip) – other air cities are available, contact GalaxSea for prices; airport transfers in Munich (airport-hotel, hotel-airport); the 11-Day Tour and sightseeing program; and all taxes and fees. What’s not included: Travel Insurance; Gratuities for the Tour Guide and Coach Driver; Meals not listed above or included in the itinerary; Sightseeing not listed or included in the itinerary; Passport fees; Airline luggage fees; and any items of a personal nature.
Gratuities for the Tour Director and Driver will be paid once on the tour, or you can pre-pay this in advance with your final payment. The pre-paid gratuity amount will be $81US dollars per traveler. If you would like to pre-pay these funds, please indicate this on you reservation form. We will add to your invoice. You can also elect to pay these directly while on your tour, they would request you pay in Euro’s if you wait and pay on tour. We can explain this in detail later, if you don’t pre-pay.
Travel Insurance is available for our package at $269 per person ($329 for Single). This comprehensive plan protects all of your vacation costs, and provides you with Medical coverage and emergency assistance during travel. Protect yourself and your vacation by purchasing travel insurance.
Don’t forget the extras: Your trip includes many sightseeing options, but there will be some free time available for self-exploration; OR you can choose from some Optional Sightseeing options. There will be a few of these optional programs that are highly recommended, and will be available at an additional cost. We will discuss these experiences and distribute details as we get closer to your departure.
Airline luggage fees are becoming more common in today’s travel environment. Currently most airlines allow for 1 free check-in bag (up to 50lbs) per passenger when traveling to Europe. Any additional pieces are subject to an additional charge. This policy can be changed by the airlines at any moment, so we will discuss later if any extra costs will be expected.
How do you join? Space is limited to just 24 guests and is sold first come first served. The initial deposit is $600 per person ($900 for Single occupancy). To join, please complete the enclosed Trip Reservation Form and send along with your deposit to GalaxSea Cruises & Tours, 210 N Business 49, Neosho, MO 64850. Additional payment of $600 per person will be due by May 10, 2018. Your final balance will be due by July 8, 2018. Travel insurance can be paid at any time up until the final payment. Our Delta Airlines flight from NW Arkansas will depart 1120am for Munich. Overnight flight schedule arriving Munich Sunday at 835am. Additional details regarding the schedule will be sent separately.
Day 2, Sunday September 16, 2018 ARRIVE IN MUNICH, GERMANY
Our scheduled morning arrival at the airport with transportation to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or start discovering Munich. An hosted walking excursion in Munich will be offered for those interested in joining. Overnight scheduled overnight for the NH Muenchen Neue Messe hotel. Standard room accommodations.
Day 3, Monday September 17, 2018 MUNICH
Breakfast is included at your hotel. Today is a free day for you to explore Munich on your own, or you can join one of our optional guided excursions to Munich or the surrounding area. Furher sightseeing details will be communicated later in the year. Tonight, you will meet your onsite Tour Director and other fellow travelers taking the tour. Day 4, Tuesday September 18, 2018 MUNICH–NUREMBERG–PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC
Today we are leaving Munich to visit Nuremberg, with its pretty market square and Our Lady’s Church. Then we head east across the border into the Czech Republic. Evening arrival in Prague, at our hotel - International. (Breakfast included)
Day 5, Wednesday September 19, 2018 PRAGUE
The wealth of gothic and baroque architecture perhaps inspired Dvorak and Smetana, both Prague composers. The included guided sightseeing features landmarks such as the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock. (Breakfast, Dinner included) Hotel International
Day 6, Thursday September 20, 2018 PRAGUE–VIENNA, AUSTRIA
Travel from Bohemia into Moravia, then into Austria and on to Vienna, where included sightseeing starts with the State Opera, Parliament, and the Town Hall. Stop for a stroll in Heroes’ Square to view the Hofburg. Reserve some energy for an exciting evening optional excursion in Vienna. (Breakfast included). Overnight at the Fourside Vienna City Center.
Day 7, Friday September 21, 2018 VIENNA-BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
A free morning to further explore the city of “waltz” or maybe just to do some shopping on the Kärntnerstrasse. In the afternoon, head for the Hungarian border and its capital city, Budapest. (Breakfast included). Overnight in Budapest at the Ibis Styles Center Budapest.
Day 8, Saturday September 22, 2018 BUDAPEST
Buda Castle dominates the twin cities of Buda and Pest, separated by the broad ribbon of the Danube. Heroes’ Square typifies the modern capital, while along the riverbank you find the old inns. Included sightseeing takes in the Parliament building, Margaret Island, Fishermen’s Bastion, and the Royal Castle. (Breakfast included). Overnight Ibis Styles Center Budapest.
Day 9, Sunday September 23, 2018 BUDAPEST–SALZBURG, AUSTRIA
Skirt the picturesque banks of the Danube on our way back into Austria, and then spectacular alpine scenery on the way to Salzburg. (Breakfast included) Overnight in Salzburg at the Austria Trend Salzburg West.
Day 10, Monday September 24, 2018 SALZBURG–MUNICH, GERMANY
Morning at leisure in Salzburg or maybe join the optional The Sound of Music excursion. Then, continue past Lake Chiemsee to Munich. Tonight, an included typical Bavarian dinner at a local restaurant is a must to celebrate a successful vacation. (Breakfast, Dinner included). Overnight at the Achat Premium Muenchen Sud.
Day 11, Tuesday September 25, 2018 MUNICH
Today is the day for you to take advantage of the world famous Oktoberfest; or you could enjoy one of the other optional sightseeing programs offered. (Breakfast included). Overnight at the Achat Premium Muenchen Sud.
Day 12, Wednesday September 26, 2018 TRAVEL HOME
Your vacation ends with breakfast this morning and then a transfer for your flight home. (Breakfast included). Anticipated arrival back in NW Arkansas is around 6pm. Further flight and transportation details will be sent separately.

While we have already included the “must-see” sites and experiences in the package itself, we understand that people take interest in different activities and allow them to craft a more personal vacation experience by providing optional excursions they can hand-pick based on appeal and personal interest.

GalaxSea Cruises & Tours, KSN, and Jim Jackson, are acting as agents for the TRAVEL SUPPLIERS in selling travel-related services, or in accepting reservations or booking for services that are not directly supplied by either of these parties. These parties, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or your companions or group members. Unless the term "guaranteed" is specifically stated in schedule, or handling of personal effects.
These parties shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of their control. These parties are not responsible for cancellation of any service/s and or refunds from any supplier or carrier that may cease operations.
Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them. Traveler's retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute consent to the above and an agreement on his/her part and is expected to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members.

Travel Insurance is available for your package. Cancellation fees are charged regardless of your reason to cancel. Our comprehensive travel insurance plan is offered thru Roam Right Insurance Services. This plan is designed to help protect you and your vacation investment. Our discounted group plan includes cancellation coverage, baggage coverage, and medical coverage. To purchase this insurance plan your premium should be paid at time of deposit. However, you may add the plan up until final payment (July 8, 2018). Your policy does not go into effect until your premium is paid. Once purchased this premium is non-refundable.
