San Antonio Tour
October 25th – 29th, 2018
Thursday, October 25th Departing from Joplin/Neosho traveling south today to Dallas. We will have a history stop at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. Our visit will see the exhibits which explore the life, assassination and legacy of JFK within the context of 1960s history and culture. This rich multi-media experience encourages cross-generation communication—fostering interest, knowledge and understanding. We plan to arrive early evening in Waxahachie where we will stay overnight at the Hampton Inn. (today meals on your own)
Friday, October 26th Today we’ll travel to Fredericksburg and enjoy lunch, then we will visit the National Museum of the Pacific War (Fredericksburg is the boyhood town of Admiral Nimitz). Then we will arrive into San Antonio early evening and enjoy 2 nights at the Drury Inn & Suites Riverwalk. Tonight, we will go on a Riverwalk Dinner Cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)
Saturday, October 27th This morning we will do a City Tour and visit the Alamo. You will then have free time in the afternoon and evening to enjoy San Antonio. (Breakfast included at the Drury, they also offer a free happy hour event with snacks from 530p-730p).
Sunday, October 28th You will have some free time for visiting some of the downtown landmarks and eat lunch on your own, then we will leave San Antonio at 12:30 pm for our visit at the LBJ Ranch and State Park and tour the Texas White House, home of Lyndon B. Johnson, our 36th President of the United States. We will arrive later this evening in Waxahachie where we will overnight again at the Hampton Inn. (Breakfast included at the Drury).
Monday, October 29th Today we return home, leaving Waxahachie at 9:00 am, with an early evening arrival back home to Neosho/Joplin. (Breakfast included at the Hampton Inn).

PRICE NOTICE: This tour price is based on 30 participants. If we have 40 travelers and additional discount will apply.
What is not included: Travel insurance is additional (starting at $79 per person), local city guide tip, meals or optional tours not listed in itinerary, any items of personal nature.
Payments: Deposit of $200 per person, plus insurance premium is due at time of joining. Another payment of $200 per person payment will be due by June 5th. The final balance is due by August 20th. Check / Cash payments receive our discounted rate.
Registration Deadline: Space is sold first come, first served. June 5th is the last date to secure your hotel room, so this is our registration deadline to guarantee our price.
Next Trip Meeting Date: June 5th @ 4pm to discuss your optional tours/excursions, last chance to join the trip on this day.
Cancellation charges: Cancellation charges begin after June 5th, and those penalty amounts increase as we get closer to departure. Travel insurance is available and recommended.
